How to Report Someone Copying your Posts

Copy and paste without linking back to the original author has become a common problem for bloggers especially in the entertainment and tech niches. Most people just copy word for word and will not link back or credit the original author of the post and its frustrating for someone to make research, spend hours composing a post and some one else would just copy and paste on his/her own blog and even rank higher than the original owner.
In this post I will be showing you how to report anyone who copies your post to google and have the persons content removed from google services.

Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) is a  copyright act and google recognizes it so you can report anyone copying your contents thereby violating your copyrights.

Note : Do not report any blog unless you know and you are sure the content you are talking about was originally composed by you unless you will be getting yourself into a big trouble.

Visit google's support page and report any spam blog for free.

You can also file a report to DCMA by filling the DCMA protect your content form and having your contents removed from the blog. When filling the form, you can choose your take down option, Professional Takedown will have a DCMA professional staff take up  your case personally and the service costs $199 while Do it yourself takedown (DIY) costs $10 and you will have to carryout the takedown by yourself. This option is mainly for many cases and for people with low budget.

I hope this post helps.
