How to Verify your Blogger Blog to the Bing Webmaster

Bing webmaster is a webmaster tool that helps your site results on search engines.
Open Bing Webmaster

Log in with your microsoft account e.g yourmail@yahoo.com,hotmail.com or windows live id  but if you do not already have one, click on sign up and register for one at bing page.

After registration log into bing account and you will see your dashboard, click on add site, enter your site url  and then click submit.

After that, you will be shown verification options as shown below :
1. Download bingauth.xml file, upload it to your site directory and  then click verify option below.
2. Verify using the meta tag (you will be given a code you can add to your site html)
3. Verify using your DNS settings

To verify using the first method, download bingauth.xml file and upload it to your cpanel for wordpress,joomla or smf but if you are using blogger blog, you will have to upload it to the directory of your blog.

To verify using the second method, you will have to copy the code provided by bing,
Login to your blogger > click template > click html besides the customize button > click format template:

Copy the code given to you and paste it

          Paste your Code here
          <Title>

And then click save template
