We recently wrote post on how to recover an accidentally deleted post on blogger and also how to customize your blogger mobile template. In this tutorial we will be giving you some tips on how to restore a deleted blog on blogger.
Alot of people complain that they wake up,log into their dashboard only to find out that their blog have been deleted so i will be showing you few steps on how to restore your blog when you find out that it has been deleted.
There are several reasons why a blog will be deleted or why a blog would disappear and each reason carry a different procedures for restoring it.
Log into your blogger Dashboard, then look for the link labelled 'deleted blog' or 'locked blog' just right beneath the new blogs button. If the blogs were deleted by the owner or it was deleted or locked by blogger abusive blogs classifier, then you may likely find the 'Undelete' button for self deleted blogs and 'Restore' button for blogs deleted by blogger abusive classifier.
If your blog was deleted by you, hitting the 'Restore' button will help alot but if the blog was deleted or locked by blogger for suspected spam, you will need to solve a CAPTCHA problem then wait for 24 to 48hours while your blog is reviewed. If you blog is locked due to an unusual activity, maybe a hacker tried to hijack your blog, after submitting a restore request or changing the account password, your account will be restored. This is a normal activity by google in helping to protect your blog from been hacked.
Meanwhile, if your blog was unfairly classified as hacking/spam/malware/porn, log into google forum and submit a report which will include your dashboard screen shot, your blog url and also state whatever you suspect the problem might be and they will help you forward a request to blogger support who is always willing to investigate any report of false positive reviews posted in the google forum.
Note : Before submitting a review, make sure that you do not have any abusive or inappropriate content in any of your other blogs because when you submit a request, all your blogs will be reviewed and may risk having all your contents permanently removed.
