Increasing Your blog productivity is very Important for you to remain evergreen in the blogosphere. I have been going through alot of contents in different blogs some of which I must say i have been learning alot from and adding value to my blogging skills. Been productive in blogging means you will have to stand out and give yourself an edge in niche and also give your visitors a reason to come back and visit your blog and also stay for a long time and read other articles on your blog. Some here are some few Tips to make your Blogging More Productive.
- Content is King : I know this is not new but It is very true, the quality of what you write really goes a long way towards making your blogging more productive. The amount of time visitors spend on your blog and the amount of revisits you get is about the value of your content.Don't just write because you feel like writing, write like an expertise by researching, providing your readers with insightful content, good analysis and ideas that are different form what people write about everywhere and i tell you that is a sure good way to get Google to trust your site like Elizabeth McGee said.
3. Build Relationships : There are several ways to build relationships in the blogospehere. Commenting and sharing valuable content in on other blogs is definitely one of such ways to build relationships. When I started blogging, I was asking myself what's the need to always drop a comment after reading posts on other people's blog I could not understand until i did a deep research and found out that you can build relationships from this. A blogger might not know you in person but when you are an enthusiast in his/her blog, both of you can connect better through that process and build a relationship which might not end here on net but would likely continue offline.
You might also want to take a personal approach maybe by joining the network of a particular blogger in linkedin, following him/her on twitter and adding the blogger as your friend on facebook or sending a mail across, this way both of you can easily share ideas and methods which can really help you grow and become better at what you do. Adrieene smith said it all in how to build relationships blogging.
4. Help Others : It is very true that most probloggers usually hide alot of secrets from others which I must say is necessary atimes but helping a newbie to grow to is not a bad idea. Helping newbies is a good way to encourage them never to quit and making them consistent and teaching them to help others. I recently helped 10 bloggers design their blogs for free in other to encourage them and help them grow. It is not because I really had time but i feel when I knew nothing, some probloggers helped me and are still helping me grow so why don't I do something for those that need me. The Comment Queen Harleena Singh mentioned some of the ways to help others which include donating money, giving time, resources, sharing love and other things you can do and put a smile on someone's face.
5. Do not be Complacent : There are alot of people out there who are complacent with any position they attain in life and most times even brag about it. Do not ever do that, always strive to grow and become better, no matter the position you are in life, there is definitely another position that is higher so fight not just to be the best but the very best. I was happy when I visited Kumar Gauraw's blog and found out the his blog title is challenging complacency. It lifts the spirit to know that there people who want to make sure they help you go further and don't feel you have arrived. Nosa Ero Nosa once told me that "Complacency is the reason a 6 months old company would grow faster than a 6 years old company". I found out that been at the top and thinking you will remain at the top forever without fighting to stay there has made alot of companies fail.
Over to You - A part form the these few tips we have mentioned, we also know that there are other factors that can help make your blogging more productive like humility because I remember Sam Adeyinka telling me that the humble nature of Babanature is part of the reason He knows anybody would like to associate or be of help to him anytime. So please feel free to give us some tips.

Hello Olili,
ReplyDeleteYou couldn't have said it any better. This is a very complete article and should challenge everyone to aspire for levels of previously unseen heights.
I really like your third point - Building relationship is what I never did during those 6-years of spell in blogging career. No individual can reach the top in isolation, you need other people to help you climb the ladder. In the last 6-months, after finding the last bit of energy to re-ignite my blogging flare, I have had excellent relationship with alot of bloggers; from pro-bloggers to newbie bloggers. It's a wonderful experience being with people having diverse ideas about how blogging should be done..
Nice article, thanks..
Hi Nosa,
ReplyDeleteI must say building relationships like you said has really helped me grow and become better in the blogosphere and I have sure learnt alot form the likes of you and obasi miracle just to mention a few.
Thanks for stopping by and have stayed blessed
Hey Bob,
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more and I agree with Nosa's view up there. You did justice to this one. Keep it up bro. :)
Aha........Thanks for giving me a mention, I do appreciate. And wow! All those guys you mention are also very fantastic. You should have yourself a magical day ahead. :)
Sam
Hi sam,
ReplyDeleteIt is very good to know you dropped by, you have been of great help since we have been relating and sharing ideas. Tnx and I appreciate you
Hey Bob,
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful advice you've given and sharing with your readers who you've been learning from. Now that's how to show people how this is done and your appreciation. I of course definitely want to say thank you so much for the recognition. That was so thoughtful of you to mention me where building relationships is concerned.
If people just take the advice that you've shared here and really study it then they'll get much further along. Blogging is really a process which is why you definitely need to remain consistent in your action steps. Without that one thing it's really going to be hard to get anywhere fast.
Great advice my friend and loved what you shared here. Thank you again for sharing my post and I do hope you're having a wonderful week.
~Adrienne
Hello Olili,
ReplyDeleteThis is such a closely related to the topic to my domain and you have really shared it very well here. Really enjoyed being here and thank you for dropping by at my blog and adding value.
I will keep coming here and look forward to learning new things from you as well.
Regards,
Kumar
Hi Bob,
ReplyDeleteSorry to be a little late here this time due to lots of connectivity problems, though I'm glad I am here now :)
Thanks you SO much for including my name, though I think there is only one commenting queen who is a superstar in building relationships as you mentioned - Adrienne, and I guess I learnt a lot from her.
I think what makes the Blogosphere such a wonderful place is that we can all connect with each other through our blogs and comments, and the more we do, the better the relationships develop. Oh yes...giving others or helping them should be our foremost aim I strongly feel. I honestly don't believe in keeping any kind of secrets - what for? I guess even I learnt it from somewhere, so passing it on to someone else is ideally what I should be doing. It is in giving that you receive, isn't it?
Thanks once again for the kind mention of the post - I appreciate it a great deal. Have a nice week ahead :)
