Another good day to learn how to fix a problem. Today I will be showing you a simple way to make sure that your feedburner feeds are always up-to-date.
I logged on to feedburner to check how my feeds are doing, I normally do that once in a while just to make sure things are fine and to my surprise I noticed that my feeds are not up-to-date. So i had to look for a way to fix this and i discovered Ping Feedburner.
Using the ping feedburner service will help update your blog feeds immediately instead of the automatic 30 minutes interval taken for feeds to be updated.
Step 1 : Log into your feedburner account
Step 2 : Click on the name of the blog having this problem
Step 3 : Click on the Troubleshootize tab at the top
Step 4 : On the fouled-up feeds, and quick ways to fix 'em, you will see feed troubles listed
Step 5 : Under the fix for the first trouble listed, click on try pinging feedburner
Step 6 : You will be directed to a page that shows the screenshot above
Step 7 : Enter the address of the website hosting the source feed on the website address space and click on Ping Feedburner.
That's all and your feeds would be automatically updated.
Note : I will also advice you ping your feeds anytime you publish a post

Thank you for making this easy to understand! I've heard the "buzz" about it but didn't know what the heck to do. You have explained it well. Last week mine broke! But a friend fixed it for me. Now I know how to do it myself and I thank you.
