Hey Friends, some days ago, i shared a tip on how to create your bbm channel but today we will be doing something entirely different but also it is about blackberry devices. I will be showing you how to update Blackberry 10 OS version and blackberry phones that normally use this version include Blackberry Z10,Blackberry Q10,Blackberry Q5 and other new blackberry smartphones.
There are 3 ways that you can do this upgrade and I will be showing you how to upgrade your blackberry 10 0S version using any of the 3 ways.
1. Updating your Blackberry 10 OS version from your Blackberry Smartphone
This method is the simplest, easiest and mostly the fastest as it does not need any external or third party method for the update. Follow the steps below to update your OS version :- Connect your blackberry phone to a wifi
- On the Home screen of your blackberry smartphone, swipe down from the top and the press or tap Settings
- Tap or press Software Updates
- Then tap Check for Updates
Note : In the first step above, it is advisable to connect to a wifi network because of the amount of data the update might need.
2. On your Windows or Mac Computer using a Blackberry link
Install Blackberry link on your windows or Mac computer, new versions of your device software will appear in the Settings view of your blackberry link. To update your device, connect your device to your computer using a USB cable and Click on Install Update.Note : Through your blackberry link, you can also backup and restore your device, synchronize your contacts, also manage and synchronize your videos, pictures, music, documents, e.t.c.
3. On your Computer using Blackberry 10 Software Update page
This method mainly works with Internet Explorer 5.5 and later versions of Firefox, so if you use any of these two browsers, visit the Blakberry 10 Software updates page. Then look for the blue Check for updates button, click on it and update your software.
Note : Until the update is complete you cannot have access to your blackberry smartphone. If you cancel the process before update is complete you will need to restart the update process before you can access your blackberry smartphone.
