Though Google has not made any official statement concerning the report but the Health Data service might just be the next big thing among tech companies as a new generation of wearable electronic gadgets that will allow users to measure their Heart rate, Sleep patterns and exercise activities.

It is not clear yet if Google Fit will be a standalone app or if it will run on Google's mobile operating system, Android, the report said.

This is definitely one of the new health services that would be introduced by tech companies. Google fit will be facing competitions from Apple's "HealthKit" which is a service that will pull together blood pressure and weight as announced by Apple last week and also Samsung's health platform for third party app developers which was announced sometime in may.
