BBM Messenger Finally arrives in Windows Phone,though in Open Beta

We Told you some time Ago that bbm is coming to windows phone in July, and now we are happy to announce to you that it is finally here. The Company announce Today that the Beta Version is finally available for download.

This BBM for Windows phone was released so that people can download, test and provide feedback but the company insists that the full version will still take a little longer.

The app makes use of windows phone interface and focuses on three main areas,Contacts, Chats and Feeds. Swiping left and right takes you between the three pages. Common controls are found at the button and you can also access the menu through the button with three dots.

With bbm for windows, you can easily pin a contact to the start menu for easy access. When a contact pinned on the start menu is selected, you will be taken directly to a chat window with the contact.
You can chat with contacts like you do with any other bbm on other devices but it still lack some features like BBM voice which was introduced not too long ago for bbm calls, bbm channels, bbm location powered by glympse, but blackberry said they will all be landing in coming months.
