How to Find the RSS Feed URL Of a Blogger Blog

when I was a newbie, I tried to submit my blog RSS feed url to a directory but I didn't know how to get it. So when a friend asked me how he can get his because he wants to submit his blog's feed to a directory, I decided to write a this post not only to guide him but to guide others who might need it as well.




RSS means Rich Site Summary but often called really simple syndication, it helps publishers to syndicate data automatically on their blog.

RSS feed url can also be used when you want to submit a site map to most search engines.

Below are the addresses that are pointed to the blogger feeds made available to blogger blogs


full site feed

Atom 1.0 : http://blogname.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default

RSS 2.0 : http://blogname.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default?alt=rss


Comments-only feed

Atom 1.0 : http://blogname.blogspot.com/feeds/comments/default

RSS 2.0 : http://blogname.blogspot.com/feeds/comments/default?alt=rss

Label Specific site feed

Atom 1.0 : http://googleblog.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default/-/privacy

Individual post comment feed

Note: You can get the postId of an individual post from the posting | Edit posts tab. Simply mouseover the 'edit' link next to a particular post, and the postId will be displayed on your browser's status bar.

Remember to replace "blogname.blogspot.com" with your own blogspot sub domain e.g "iblogright.blogspot.com" but if you are using a custom domain just replace with your custom domain e.g "iblogright.com".

So you can see it is easy to find the RSS feed url of your blogger blog.
