From Today, you can once again start sharing url's with your friends via Direct messages (DM). The Twitter Support Page concerning Direct Messages, had until today a message on the page that the company was updating it's back-ends and infrastructures. That work has been completed and you can once again be able to share url's via Direct Messages.
