Popular Video Channel Youtube is testing a new feature that will allow users to quickly create GIFs from videos on the video service.
A Feature which is currently only been tested on the PBS Ideal Channel's page ,allows you to simply click the share button, then drag a trim selector to pick the part of the video you want to turn into GIF.

The maximum length of an auto-generated GIF is 5 seconds and you are able to add your own text to the top and button of the GIF automatically.
I must say this will revolutionize the way GIFs are made and makes it very easy for you to get a GIF off a video without stress. We are hopeful that Youtube will expand this feature to the rest of the site because it's awesome.
