Step 1 : First you need to Update your WeChat messenger app because if you have not done that, the option of web version will not appear. To Connect to WeChat on PC via Web browser, Navigate to https://web.wechat.com on your browser(Unlike whatsapp on PC that works only in chrome browser, WeChat works with both Firefox and Chrome), the page will open and a QR Code will appear.
Step 2 : Open the WeChat app on your mobile and Click on the + or three dot depending on the phone, a menu will appear, Click on Scan QR Code.
Step 3 : Now use the QR Scanner that will appear to scan the QR Code on your web browser
Step 4 : Now Click on Log In to web that will appear on your phone and automatically your WeChat app will appear on your browser.
You can now Click on the name of the contact you want to chat with and start chatting.
