If you are banking with a bank like Ecobank that normally issues only Verve Cards to it's Customers in Nigeria then you will find it a little difficult to engage in Online transactions. However I will be showing you how you can activate your Verve Card for online transaction through the Interswitch safetoken service (ISS). This method generates a One Time Password (OTP) for every transaction you carry out Online.
The OTP helps make sure that you are the one authorizing any online transaction that is taking place on your verve card via the safetoken system. Hence it serves as a second level authorization after you have successfully entered your card details like Card number, Pin, CVV2 code (the last 3 digit numbers at the back of your card). The OTP is sent to the phone number you use in registering and once entered, transaction becomes effective.
You will need to register for safe-token service to enable your verve card for online transactions on quickteller platform.
Congratulations, you have enabled safetoken on your account and can start using your verve card for online transactions and also have a One Time Password (OTP) sent to you to complete any online transaction.

- Select Others and Enter 322222 as the biller Code
- Enter your Mobile Number as the Customer Reference Number (Preferably the phone number associated with your bank account) and Select Proceed
- You will get a display which reads "Do you want to make this payment?" Amount Due : N1
- Accept the Transaction fee by Selecting Pay Amount Due
