Around September last year, Infinix took over the Nigeria mobile market with the launch of a sleek smart phone and hash tag #Zero2hero,which led us to write a post that says Is Tecno losing the smartphone war in Nigeria to Infinix. The device was truly a hero for infinix as it made the company popular and also drew more attention to other infinix brands, the device was also affordable even with so much quality that I was even wondering why infinix had to make it that affordable, but now I know better because the affordability of the phone lead to a market quake as the phone was sold in large volumes.
Now that Infinix launched the hash tag #TheNextHero campaign, lovers of sleek mobile phones around the world would be expecting something sleeker, more colorful and better than the first hero which was infinix zero.
The Strong brand presence Infinix has in Nigeria right now has kept Nigerian's on their toes as they cannot wait to see what infinix has up their sleeves, though the company is still keeping the product close to their chest .
All over their Facebook fanpage, users have been guessing what this device might be but their answers are very strong attributes of a 'hero' which shows that this might truly be the next hero although we are not certain yet if it's a new phone launch but online fans are already suggesting features that they will love to see.
According to Infinix Mobility Head of Marketing, Peter Zhou, “#TheNextHero is about developing conversation with our community of users, who are key to our business. We want to feel their pulse and elicit feedback that could be useful as we finalize and reveal the concept behind the #TheNextHero.
If you ask me, I will say they are getting just enough feedback from fans but I don't think it's all about developing conversation with community of users but what it is, let's wait and see because #TheNextHero is definitely coming to town soon.
