Internet Giants Google is launching it's Android one program for affordable Smartphones in Nigeria and the rest of Africa.

Today the company launched it's Android one program in Nigeria with the help of Infinix, one of the fastest growing brand in Africa. The infinix Hot 2 is available in Nigeria from today for around N19500 (around 89 USD) and will be available in Ghana and other African countries in coming weeks.
The device comes with Android lollipop OS 5.1, quad core mediaTek processor and 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM. It also comes with 2200mAh battery, 8.0mp primary camera and 2.0 mp secondary camera.
Google’s also making the Web a little more accessible in regions with poor data service by rolling out a streamlined version of Google Search that will run faster on devices with low RAM. Google says it can reduce data usage by up to 90 percent on the results page, cutting down load times by a third.
